Hybrid XT sensors are designed with a two-stage contamination protection system that prevents dust, dirt and water from damaging the bearings. The first level of protection is a fully sealed housing that minimises the ingress of contaminants. Inside, a sealed bearing cartridge system prevents contaminants from affecting the bearings. The result: extended bearing life and a recommended maintenance interval of 10 years - which means fewer maintenance calls on your turbines.
Icing and extreme climates are no challenge for Hybrid XT. The all-metal construction conducts heat to the entire anemometer, preventing ice build-up that could affect sensor function. Heat is radiated to the sensor head via a 96W heater, which provides sufficient de-icing performance. With Hybrid XT, you can count on worry-free operation in all weather conditions.
