The ASAP LOCK guided type fall arrester is designed to facilitate handling for the user when ascending the rope. In normal use, the device automatically follows the user's movements on the rope without manual intervention. In the event of a fall or abrupt acceleration, the fall arrester locks onto the rope and stops the user. The integrated blocking function allows the user to stop the device to reduce the height of the fall. The connecting arm protects against the loss of the device when passing intermediate belays. The ASAP LOCK is used together with an ASAP'SORBER or ASAP'SORBER AXESS fall arrester to work away from the rope.
