All PET foams have excellent thermal stability, impressive physical properties and good resin absorbency. The unique composition of PVC foams allows for impressive mechanical performance at very low weight, which combined with impressive resin absorbency makes for an extremely efficient combination of properties.
Divinycell PY
This is the latest addition to Diab's PET portfolio, offering high shear strength and designed to fit perfectly with blade design. PY105 is typically used in the blade tip areas and PY250 in the root area of the blades, again as an alternative to balsa.
