The RELEST Wind LEP ETU, Art. No. I374-8735, is used to protect the rotor blade leading edge of wind turbines from erosion damage caused by rain, sand, hail, dirt and other suspended particles in the air.

In combination with the adhesion promoter RELEST Wind Adhesion Promotor, Art. No. I367-0372, or the RELEST Plus Adhesion Promoter UNI, art. no. I367-0372. No. I367-0070, an increased bond with the substrate is usually achieved. In the case of critical substrates, adhesion must be checked in advance. The coating consists of an exceptionally lightfast and hard-wearing polyurethane elastomer.
